  • Work on the creation of combined Admissions/New Student Information Center location to better coordinate and facilitate services aimed at prospective students.

  • Implement and fine tune the optical imaging system to replace our reliance on paper records in all facets of Enrollment Services and expedite enrollment-related services.

  • Implement an online transcript request process in the Registrar’s office to better meet the needs of students.

  • Provide support to Admissions in the development of a strategic outreach plan to increase high ability, under-represented, traditional age and nonresident students which includes extensive expansion out of state travel and territory management.

  • Work in conjunction with the Associate Provost to increase efforts aimed at improving retention and graduation rates.  These include increasing admission standards as appropriate, continuing to offer extended hours of service in the Bronco Help Center and at West Campus, and developing and implementing plans yet to be determined.

  • Provide support and human resources for the PeopleSoft upgrade to be implemented in FY08-09.

  • Enhance communication to students, through improved use of electronic messages, personalized communication and continued professional development in customer service.

  • In Financial Aid and Scholarships work together in the awarding and monitoring both ACG and SMART grants as federal regulations continue to evolve.

  • Make any changes necessary to the Enrollment Management Plan, Enrollment Management Committee, Enrollment Services’ department mission statements, and enrollment management processes bringing alignment with Charting the Course – the strategic vision for the University.

  • In collaboration with the Provost’s Office and Extended Studies, fully implement scheduling software for the effective scheduling of classroom space at the Boise Campus, West Campus, and Canyon County Center.  Help establish procedures, processes, and reports that assist in scheduling and optimizing classroom space.

  • Celebrate the accomplishments achievements of the staff in Enrollment Services and provide opportunities for professional development.

  • Develop and produce new recruitment materials (print and electronic) that effectively promote Boise State to our target market using messaging that is consistent with Charting the Course.

  • Begin work with Alumni to develop Broncos Beyond Boise in Seattle, Portland and other key cities as time and resources allow.

  • Actively assist in the development of the College of Western Idaho, the new community college in the Treasure Valley, to provide for dual enrollment and ease of transfer.

  • Respond to and serve the needs of international undergraduate, technical and graduate prospective students and applicants to promote the internationalization of Boise State's student population.
