Boise State University is Idaho’s largest university with 22,113 students (fall 2015) and stands uniquely positioned in the Northwest as an emerging metropolitan research university. As Boise State has grown, it has worked hard to increase the quality of its students. Each year, the number of high achieving students who choose Boise State grows.

In 2015, Boise State attracted a talented freshman class of 2,211 students. Over 46 percent of the new freshmen had a high school grade point average exceeding 3.50. High school graduates directly entered Boise State with an average 3.45 GPA.
